What to Expect (when you come to a Sunday Service)

The first thing you should do is relax!  You don't have to dress in a suit or worry that you won't fit in.  People come to Bayshore from many different backgrounds, ages and cultures.  Just be yourself and come as you are.  We want Bayshore to be a safe environment for ordinary people to explore faith with others.  Everyone is welcome here, no matter your background, your doubts, or questions.  God accepts us as we are.  From here we'll help each other grow to be all God intended us to be.

Friendly people will help you find your way around (parking, where to sit, etc.).  Look for Connecting Points outside each of our worship spaces, Worship Center and Children's Worship Center.  Staff and volunteers will give you a packet of information about the church and answer any questions you may have about the Church.  They'll also be happy to direct you to the Children's check-in area or one of our Sunday School classes.

Parking and Entrances

At Bayshore Church of the Nazarene, the best place to park on your first visit is the guest parking area located onthe East side of the building on 23rd St W.  Feel free, however, to park anywhere you would like.  There are handicap spaces available close to the entrance of the Church.  The main entrance is located on the South side of the building which houses our Adult Worship Center and to the west from that is the Nursury and Children's Worship Center (SEE MAP).

We believe that every child is designed by God to do great things.  One of our goals is to partner with parents to help develop their child's God-given potential in a safe, age appropriate environment where the Bible is taught in a fun and creative way.

After being greeted by our fabulous volunteers, parents will enter our secure check-in area to get their child signed in the age appropriate room and then go to enjoy the service.

Our worship gatherings are focused on encountering God.  The atmosphere is welcoming; the music is a blend of contemporary and traditional that is heartfelt and God focused.  The message is taught from the Bible in a way that makes it real, alive and applicable for every day life.  Whoever you are, you will find a service and music style that resonates with your heart and draws you into worship.

Our Mission is to "Connect Generations to Jesus" and in doing this, we want to know you and equip you to live a life of mission in our community.  We do this by striving to make Christ the center of everything we do.  So... what you can expect from our Sunday morning Worship Service is to encounter and worship God through message, music, teaching, communion and fellowship.

So dress comfortably, you'll feel right at home wearing anything from shorts to jeans to business casual or even that suit...whatever works for you.  Just expect to leave challenged to be a better person living for Christ.
